Toqi Sarrofon (Persian: Toqi Sarroflar) — an architectural monument in Bukhara (16th century), the main trade center for exchanging money. At the intersection of Shahristan 2nd Street, elev. The smallest dome is the Toqi Sarrofan, where the shops of sarros were built over the Shahrud canal.

Sarrafon Mosque (also known as Mulla Orizi Mosque or Tahti Toki Sarrafon Mosque) is a historical architectural monument in Bukhara. It was built in 1515–1516 during the reign of the Shaybanid dynasty and is included in the National Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage Sites of Uzbekistan.

The mosque received its current name after the construction of Toki Sarrafon, one of Bukhara’s famous covered bazaars. The last major restoration was carried out at the end of the 19th century or around 1905. The building is known for its sophisticated architectural design and its two-sided veranda built on a high platform.

The mosque contains numerous historical inscriptions and decorative elements. The entrance portal features inscriptions written in Nasta’liq script on a blue background with white letters, while the names of Allah and the ruler are highlighted in gold. An inscription above the entrance states that the construction was completed during the reign of Ubaydullah Bahadur Khan in 1534–1535. The calligraphy was created by the famous Bukhara calligrapher Muhammad Darvish Qunoq.

The interior is decorated with carved plaster inscriptions, including verses from the Qur’an such as Surah Al-Ikhlas, as well as passages from Surah Al-Jinn and Surah An-Nisa. Until the 1970s, the mosque served as a teahouse and library. Today, it continues to function as a traditional teahouse.
