The Mehtar Anbar Madrasah (Attor Madrasah) is a 2-story madrasah building located in the historical center of the city of Bukhara, Bukhara Region, Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, a hotel named Mehtar Anbar operates in the madrasah.

Mehtar Anbar Madrasah was built in the 1870s in the Mehtar Anbar quarter of Bukhara during the reign of Emir Muzaffar Khan (1860–1885). The madrasa was one of the educational institutions of late Bukhara and served as a center for religious learning.

Following the establishment of Soviet rule, educational activities at the madrasa were discontinued. Today, the building has been adapted for modern use and houses the Mehtar Anbar Hotel.

The madrasa is included in the National Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage Sites of Uzbekistan, approved in 2019. It is located on Bahauddin Naqshband Street in the historic center of Bukhara.

Architecture

The madrasa is a two-story structure built of baked brick and consists of 22 student cells (hujras). It is a fine example of the architectural traditions of late 19th-century Bukhara.
