The Ahmadjon caravanserai was built in the 17th century. The caravanserai is located in the square next to the shopping domes of Ahmadjon Sarafon and Telpak. Its construction dates back to the 18th century.

The Ahmadjon caravanserai is a cultural heritage monument located in the historical center of the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. It is included in the national list of immovable objects of material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and is under state protection.

During the Soviet era, the caravanserai, which served as a dormitory for many years, was gradually filled with construction and household waste. Since 2003, the caravanserai, which had fallen into a semi-destructive state, has been undergoing reconstruction by a French association.
